Dream Night M&Ts

There were EIGHT Make-n-Takes.  I will share most of them with you here over the next couple of days.  We received the Tropical Party Clear Mount stamp set and used this to make all the items.  This 3-d item has a pouch on the inside and will hold a fun little gift or candy, of course.  The top of the holder is a Top Note folded in half.

The item below is a really cute summer invitation.  The flower is made using the Island Oasis DSP and the new Bigz Die Island Floral.  Must haves for the summer!

The inside holds the invite and the RSVP card.  The template could be used for any party invite, just change the paper and theme for your occasion.  It could also be used to hold a picture or two, if the invite is not needed.

These Favor Boxes are quickly becoming a favorite of mine.  So easy...so fast...so reasonable priced!  No stamping required, just add a flower to the bellyband so it can be slipped off to get to the goodies inside.  The Island Floral die is perfect for this.

 
 
 

 

Dream Night

Last week I attended an event run by Dawn Rapsas from New Jersey and the CEO and Cofounder of Stampin' Up was in attendance.  Isn't she cute :)  Let me tell you that she is genuine and sweet just like she looks but don't kid yourself, she is a successful business woman.  I LOVE that combination.  Over the next couple of posts, I will share with you some of the pictures I took (not all cuz I took 100s of them).

The jammies were made for all the helpers and Shelli with matching flip-flops.  Really cute.  We all got a rag purse made from the same fabric.  I am going to have to break out my machine and learn how to make these.

Pillow Box

Check out this adorable Pillow Box gift from my dear Tina R.  She gave all the gals one who came to her home in NY for a little retreat.  I love the pinks and Soft Suede together.  And, there is another scrunchy flower made with the scallop punch.  Sweet gift, filled with candy of course!

Chalkboards

Finally got around to making some little chalkboards with the Heart shaped Chipboard from the last mini.  I am giving these to my fun neighborhood gal friends as a thank you for getting me motivated to walk/exercise at night.  Recognize the colors?  These are the In Colors that will be retiring in July (some of them anyway).

 

Favor boxes

How cute are these Party Favor Boxes.  You get 6 each of 2 designs (plus belly bands) for only $5.95, that is a steal!  The flower on top is crumpled/crimped Fancy Flower punched DSP that is layered with a brad in the middle.  Just scrunch it up from the inside out and fluff it up.  Love it!

The cabin

Another great trip to THE CABIN in NY with upline Tina R. and gals.  She is so generous to have us come up and relax, stamp, laugh and eat and she takes great care of us.  What a great group!  She also showed us how to make this fun banner card (not sure what the real technique is called).  The outside uses the Sweet Scoops stamp set.

 

Just look at the inside :)  The sentiment hangs on the stretchy silver cord when you open it.  How fun is that!

When we go to the cabin, we bring projects to work on for our classes or personal use.  It is a great way to get some creative time in because it is hard when you are home and the hubby and kids are hollering at you to do something.  Know what I mean.

TT3 - Funky

Check out the funky section and the last one to share with you.  Stenciling.  What can I say but you should be buying these.  They are not just for walls.

 

A little shabby look here but I like the look. 

How fun are Suspension cards.  The image just floats there.

What could be cuter than this squirrel.  This 3x3 card would be perfect as a little thank you with some candy!

Ok, here is the last one.  The Shadow Box card is my favorite.  It folds flat for mailing and I love the fact that it looks like you are looking through a window.

I also have to confess that I do like the cattails and butterflies together.

TT3 - Backgrounds

Look what you can do to create your own backgrounds.  SU sells specialty papers that have glossy designs on them.  Just brayer over them with the color of your choice and buff with a tissue and make your own colored DSP.

Bermuda Bay is so SUMMER!

I bet if you own the SU Pastels you have not used them in awhile.  Pull them out and dauber on three colors and create score lines with an erase.  What a great look.

I picked the colors to match what I wanted to use for the lion accent.  Any color combo would be fantastic!

Thank goodness shimmer paint is staying.  Add some to rubbing alcohol and you get a great spritz of shimmer.

   

Looks like snow and really shimmers in the light.  Perfect for the holidays, too.
