I find that I give gift cards more than actual wrapped gifts these days and this is a fun way to dress them up. Need a gift card holder in a snap?
Take Whisper White cut at 4 1/4 x 10 3/4, and score at 4 1/4 and 8 3/4. The smaller section is your top flap. On the bottom, use your Word Window punch to create a hole for the gift card. Make it longer by sliding it across your card stock and punching again. The front is covered with your favorite DSP (4 x 4, and 1 3/4 x 4 for the top). Add your image (I used Fun & Fast Notes) on the front and adher just the bottom with dimensionals. This way you can tuck the flap under the image to keep it closed. I rounded the top flap corners and added dazzling diamonds. Thanks Dawn Griffith for this fun and easy template.
This one would be cute for a girl.
This one works for boys, too.
This is what the inside looks like. The DSP on the front covers the word window slot. When adhering the DSP, only put adhesive on the edges so you do not get a sticky mess in the slot :)
