While at SU Convention last week, a young gal approached me in front of the Main Stage doors. She was hesitant and seemed rather shy. She said "This is my first convention and my first swap. I know it is not very good but would you swap with me?". Well, I got teary eyed and gave her a big hug and said "of course I will". She was so happy to get one of "my" cards. You see, it is not about getting a new idea, or hearing that your card "is so cute". It is about supporting fellow stampers, making new friends and helping the less experienced feel good about themselves . I doubt she remembers me, but she sure made an impression on me that I will not soon forget. Remember this story the next time someone asks you if you've "Got Swaps!".
